About Kristin Zeising, Psy.D.Individual & Couple Therapy Kristin Zeising, Psy.D. is a California licensed psychologist who completed her undergraduate degree with a double major in Psychology and Sociology at the University of California at Santa Cruz. She continued on to earn her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. Dr. Zeising completed her internship at Marin County Community Mental Health, and her post-doctoral training at Kaiser Permanente in South San Francisco. Over the past 10 years, she has worked with individuals, couples, families and groups and taught psycho-educational classes on topics such as stress reduction, couples communication and overcoming depression. She has training and experience in personality and cognitive testing, and utilizes these skills to help achieve accurate diagnoses and effective treatment planning. Dr. Zeising has received extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy, short and long-term psychodynamic therapy, marital, couple and group therapy. Her therapeutic approach involves changing negative behaviors as well as changing dysfunctional relationship patterns while providing sensitivity and awareness of a person’s unique background. Her primary therapeutic objectives are to reduce symptoms and to support and educate clients in achieving more satisfying and productive individual, relational, familial and professional lives.
